What are the teratogenic effects of Ribavirin?
Ribavirin is a drug that is used to treat Hepatitis C. This drug however has teratogenic (Category X) effects and is contraindicated in females who are pregnant and also males whose partners are pregnant.
Some of the teratogenic effects are:
- Neonatal Tooth
- Ventral septal defect
