Lichen simplex chronicus.

Lichen simplex chronicus.

35 year old female suffering from lichen simplex chronicus.

She came to our hospital with complaint of shortness of breath which is not related to skin lesion. She is a known case of asthma and dust allergy since 7 years.

This skin lesion started 5-6 years back as a very small plaque which spread all over both her feet unto her ankles without involving the sole of both feet and has also now started to spread on her finger nails of right hand which she uses mostly to scratch this lesion.

It is a hyper pigmented, scaly, dirty green in color, exfoliating plaque associated with itching and super added fungal infection and not associated with any discharge or any neurological involvement.
